MM School of architecture, Ambala Scholarships:

MM School of architecture, Ambala falls under Maharishi Markandeshwar (Deemed to be) University which is among the most reputed universities of its kind. The university maintains its prestige by always ensuring that all students get the opportunity to receive a good quality education and fair treatment. In order to give financial assistance to the students who are not able to fully pay their tuition fees, MMU has various scholarship schemes. Following are the MM School of Architecture, Ambala scholarship schemes offered to its students.

Merit-Based Scholarship:

The merit-based scholarships are granted to the eligible and meritorious candidates based on their academic performance in the qualifying examinations: The table below shows the percentage of tuition fee waiver according to the marks scored.

In order to continue benefiting from the scholarships for subsequent years, the students are required to maintain considerable attendance. 

COVID-19 Warriors Scholarship:

In acknowledgment of the selfless services provided by personnel who are fighting COVID-19 every day, a dedicated scholarship is provided with a 15% tuition fee waiver. Listed below are the personnel who qualify to avail the COVID-19 Warriors Scholarship:

• The wards of Doctors, Lab Staff, Nurses, Para-Medical Staff, and Housekeeping Staff working in any Government/ Private Hospitals or in the Department of Health of any State/Central Govt.
• The wards of Sanitation Workers of Municipal Committee or Corporations
• The wards of Police and Paramilitary Personals working in any State/ UT
• The wards of Media Persons (Print & Electronic)
• The wards of Bank Employees

Please note: For continuation of this scholarship, the candidate is required to maintain an 80% attendance and score passing marks in their end sem/year examinations. 

Girl Child Scholarship Scheme (Haryana Domicile) / MMIS Mullana Alumni Scholarship:

This scholarship helps support and promotes female students. A special scholarship in the form of a 15% waiver in Tuition Fee is offered. In order to continue availing the scholarship benefits, the candidate is required to maintain an 80% attendance and score passing marks in their end semester or year examinations. 

Additional Scholarship Conditions:

• All scholarship eligible students can avail only one scholarship at one time.
• The scholarship is applicable to a few courses and the details are available on the MMU website.
• The final decision regarding the percentage of fee waiver remains in the hands of the Scholarship Committee.
• The percentage of a fee waiver is also subject to fulfillment of required conditions of minimum attendance in each subject, and also maintaining the required CGPA mentioned above.
• The Students claiming SC/ST/OBC/Disability Scholarship under the relevant scheme of the Government should apply online in the website of the concerned State Goverment.
