Modi Institute of Management and Technology (MIMT Kota) Infrastructure: Library, Hostel, Labs, Gym, Auditorium & Other Facilities

Institute has one of the best infrastructural set-ups. The Institute premise is wide opened from all sides and covered by large trees and plantation, projecting a highly conducive environment for education. Canteen facility, water coolers, waterfilter-cum-aquaguard, girls common room, lunch room, indoor games hall, badminton and tennis court yards, vehicle parking stand, sports stadium etc. are available in the institute premises. The laboratories viz. Biotech labs, microbiology labs, computer labs, electronics and communication labs are fully equipped with latest and modern equipments, supported by UPS and overall power back-up by D.G. Set to ensure uninterrupted operations.

There are four computer labs and one computer centre in the institute along with a computer workshop. A full-fledged stadium is available for different sports and to organize tournaments of large size participation. It also facilitates cultural and other events conveniently and gracefully.Indoor games facilities have been created in the institute building with properly designed halls.

Library

In this era of Information explosion, the libraries fulfill the thirst of many information seekers. Better library facilities enables the users to make feel of qualitative and quantitative transformation of knowledge, as the readers the high confidence level seen in the students after consultation in the library reveal greater importance of this rare facility. The MIMT library is enriched with latest collection of 23816 volumes of reference and text books. At present library has subscribing national and international journals and magazines in the field of computer applications and management. Library has also good number of CD-ROMs databases, project reports. Library operations are automated using SOUL software developed by INFLIBNET (UGC). Bar Code based issue-deposit system is in implementation phase. Facilities provided by library - display of new arrivals, list of subscribed journals and magazines, reference services, Online Public Access Catalogue and also internet surfing facility available to its users.

Laboratory

MIMT has the best computer laboratory, with the latest computing facilities and high speed internet connectivity. The Institute has four computer labs with over 400 computers and 25 MBPS 1:1 network. Also the laboratories are running intranet of the institute and the institute systems works with an ERP technology backbone. The entire campus network is connected with latest technology enabled servers and CISCO network equipments. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled.
