Mukhi College of Nursing Infrastructure: Library, Labs, Auditorium, Cafeteria & Other Facilities

Facilities :-

The institute has a magnificent and spacious building. There are two large halls, a library with reading room, cabins for staff, two staff rooms, a room for Photocopier & Computer and two store rooms. The institute is growing its facilities at a continuous pace. 

In the existing building a separate block named Student Support Complex is being established. This complex of the building will have a gymnasium, health centre and provision of indoor games. 

There are a number of sections in the main building. On the ground floor there are adequate number of classrooms. The music room is equipped with musical instruments. The institute has a well-furnished staff room and students common room. In addition to the classrooms, separate cubicles are made for the faculty for doing their academic work. The college has different laboratories like Science Lab, Home Science Lab, Mathematics Lab, Science Discovery Centre & Computer Labs. The Fine Art section has tables for clay modeling and two big enclosures for keeping plants and sculptures. 

In order to maintain the building of the institute, its whitewashing, painting and repairs are carried out every year. Cleansing and upkeep is carried out regularly.

In the existing building a separate there is a provision of a gymnasium, health centre and provision of indoor games. Adjacent to this building complex, there is a spacious ground which was used for holding other important functions like Zonal Youth Festival of M.D.U. University. 

There are a number of sections in the main building. On the ground floor there are adequate number of classrooms. The music room is equipped with musical instruments. The college has a well-furnished staff room, separate common rooms for boys and girls. In addition to the classrooms, there are several cubicles meant for the faculty where they can do their academic work. At first floor different laboratories like Science Lab, Home Science Lab, Mathematics Lab, Science Discovery Centre, Computer Labs and library are housed. 

On the right side of main building, there is the Fine Art section. It has provision for tables for clay modeling. There are two big enclosures in the Fine Art section. One is meant for keeping plants and the other contains several sculptures.

Use of Modern Teaching Aids & Technologies : 

A college of education has to keep pace with the latest trends in using technology in the field of teacher education. We have in our possession a large number of modern teaching aids, which are used by the members of the staff. These teaching aids help in explaining various concepts and processes, which are not otherwise easy to explain. Some of these teaching aids are film projector, overhead projector, two colour TVs, two VCRs, epidiascopes, Multimedia projector, closed circuit TV system. Apart from these, there is a variety of material like models, cassettes, charts, scientific apparatus and agricultural equipments, which are commonly used for teaching purposes.

Library Facility

In this age of information, the library services must be the heart of any institution. The Library (Learning and Resource Centre) plays a vital role in providing & nurturing knowledge and aiding in learning activities. The Primary purpose of the library is to support teaching, research, academic programmes.

The College has a well-stocked library, It has books covering all aspects of Management and Information Technology with the latest editions from the best Indian and foreign publishers. The library subscribes to more than 22 national and international journals/magazines and has also the latest edition of Encyclopedia and 3 daily Newspapers. We have computerized library stock management system.

Lab Facility

Language Resorce Centre :

The Institute has an air-conditioned Language Resorce Centre for students. The lab holds 50 personal computers & 1 powerful server. An internet connection is also available in Language Resorce Centre . A lab monitor is available to assist students with computer related issues.

Science Resorce Centre

The Lab is equipped with various models different type of apparatus testing materials. Our physical chemistry Bio technology Laboratories have all the equipment in sufficient quantity so that each pupil teacher can perform his practical individually.

• St. Resource Centre : This lab consists Atlas of India and Maps of India and world.
• Mathematics Resource Centre
• Home Science Resource Centre
• Creativity Resource Centre
• Health Resource Centre
• ICT Resorce Centre : This lab containing overhead Projector, Slide Projector (Manual & Automatic) Epidiascope, DVD Player, TV & PA System.
• Chalk Board Writing Resource Centre : Containing about 20 Black Board and Superior quality Simple and coloured chalk.

Psychology Resorce Centre

Attached to the college is well equipped a psychology laboratory for measurement and guidance, The student teachers have the benefit to receive training in testing and guidance. All the written and practical examination. In the psychological lab would conduct in the presence and guidance of the concerned teacher and psychological lab Assistant.
