Munger University is a state university that was established in 2018 under the Bihar State Universities (Amendment) Act, 2016. Located in Munger, Bihar, the university has 17 constituent colleges, 17 affiliated colleges, five single-faculty education colleges (Affiliated B. Ed. Colleges), and one affiliated law college. Munger University is part of AIU and recognised by UGC. 

More than 100 courses are offered by Munger University in areas like Management, Arts, Law, Commerce, Science, etc. Some of the major courses offered by the university include B.Ed, BA, B.Sc, MA, and M.Sc. The university admits students based on merit for various UG and PG courses. Admission to B.Ed at Munger University is based on Bihar B.Ed CET exam. For PhD admission, the university selects candidates based on PAT entrance test scores followed by a personal interview.

Munger University Admission

Munger University admissions are done online for all UG, PG, and PhD programs. Admissions to all UG and PG programs are based on merit. The final selection is based on a merit list released by the university. In order to secure admission into PhD programs, an aspirant must appear for the PAT entrance test and a personal interview conducted by the respective department.
