Library

A Library is a store house of knowledge and is the back-bone of an institution. Earlier, library resources, primarily consisting of books and manuscripts, were stored and preserved for posterity, while modern library is an information center that acquires, organizes, disseminates and provides information in various forms. The total strength of NNM Library collection is 60,000 books including a number of Xylographic Tibetan manuscripts and some rare manuscripts along with gratis books. It is pertinent to note that the library has enriched its collection by getting the personal libraries of renowned Buddhist scholars like Dr. R.B. Mukherjee, Dr. Nalinkash Dutta, Dr. Nathmal Tatia, Prof. C.S. Upasak, Prof. Krishna Narayan Prasad Magadh, Prof. Siyaram Tiwari, Prof. D.K. Barua etc. which is the  special feature of NNM Library.

Computer Lab

The world has been made a global village through the use of computers and the internet. Therefore it is essential for everyone to have at least a basic knowledge of computers in order to survive in this cyber space.

The largest computer Lab in the Nava Nalanda Mahavihara (NNM) can accommodate 25 Students in its capacity. It is fully Air-Conditioned with the latest technological devices, Internet and audio-visual facilities.

Sports and Extra Circular ActivitiesSports

Both indoor and outdoor sports are integral part of the University curriculum. Facilities are available for the both indoor and outdoor Sports in the campus.

Water sports - The University has a boat club where facilities for the Water sports are available from October to March every year.

Elocution and Debate - As per the conventions of the ancient Nalanda Mahavihara, NNM emphasiges and encourages its students to participate in regular elocutions and debares, to enrich their abilities of oratory and judgement.

Hostel

Hostel accommodation is provided on the basis of the availability of seats in hostels. The University has three Hostels for students.

• Shantarakshita Hostel - 100 Bedded
• Shilabhadra Arama - 50 Bedded
• Shantideva International Hostel - 48 Bedded

The hostel has a set of kitchens and dining rooms. Electricity, drinking water and other necessary ammenities are also available.

Conference Room

The largest conference room in the Nava Nalanda Mahavihara (NNM) can accommodate many people in a professional set up and is well equipped with a multimedia projection screen.
