S.P.P GIRLS' HOSTEL
Nowgong College has a Girls' hostel located in the college premises. It consists of four blocks with adequate facilities. For admission in the hostel a student has to apply in a prescribed form available in the college office. Admission is made on the basis of merit, considering distance, physical disability etc. Admission to Girls' Hostel is made after attaching the list of selected girls in the notice board.
BOYS' HOSTEL
Nowgong College has a well-furnished boys' hostel having the following facilities:
- Pure Drinking water of Aqua guard
- Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
- Colour Television
- News Papers
- Games- Table Tennis, Caroms etc.
The Nowgong College Central Library, named Mahendranath Maihangdang dekaphukan Library came into being along with the establishment of the college itself on 7 th August, 1944 . At present the college library is fully equipped with digital technology. The college library has played significant role for the development of higher education in central Assam . The library has around 52000 nos. of books, 20 nos. of journals/ magazines and many news papers and periodicals. The library has a distinctive blazon of its own and it played a significant role in the intellectual development of the students community in particular and society in general.
Computer Centre
The college has two computer laboratories, one funded DST and the other by UGC. Both the laboratories provide internet facilities which can be availed by students and teachers for their academic purposes. The laboratories play a significant role in enabling students to pursue a regular computer application course.
Auditorium
The college has an auditorium with a capacity of accommodating at least 800 audiences and all basic amenities of light sound, greenroom, etc. The formal meetings, social and cultural functions, intra and inter college competitions of music, dance, debate and quiz etc. take place in the auditorium.

We give equal importance to curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities aimed at the alround improvement of students. Almost all the departments organize seminars, workshops, talks etc. in their subjects and related topics.
Canteen
The college has a hygienic food joint for students and staff of the college. It also provides a comfortable environment for refreshment during their stipulated work-schedule. Nutritious food items with very reasonable prices have made the canteen accessible to students coming from different financial backgrounds.
Gym & Fitness Centre
The college has a gymnasium that focuses on physical fitness of students as it is believed that a sound mind resides only in a healthy physique. The students avail full benefit from the gymnasium during leisure time.
