Library

The Library of the Oriental Theological Seminary is for the use of the students, the faculty, and the staff at OTS. It is also extended to the alumni of OTS and the general public who wish to enroll for membership in the library. The main purpose of the library is to meet the academic requirements of the seminary by facilitating the needs of both the faculty and the students as privileged members of the library. The Library houses over 12,000 volumes of resources including monographs, references, audio/videos, and serials.

Readers may take note of the four main sections in the library: the GENERAL section, from which a member may check out books: the REFERENCE section, which is limited to library consultations or readings only; SERIALS section, where periodicals such as Journals and Magazines are maintained; and the RESERVE section, where current academic term requirements are on RESERVE for students and faculty.

Books from the GENERAL section may be checked out for a period of seven days. Books and documents in the REFERENCE section are for consultation in the Library only. Books on RESERVE are primarily for library readings. However, they can be checked out for overnight and on weekends half an hour before the library closes..
