Pavanatma College Placement Details

Career & Placement :-

To enhance the employment potential of the students, the CGAP cell is functioning in pavanatma. A faculty is in charge of the activities of the CGAP cell. He/she coordinates all the programs of the cell and submits the report of the activities to the IQAC. The cell conducts various carrier guidance programmes to enlighten the students about the job market and the necessary skills required for employ ability. The initiatives of CGAP are listed below:

• Personality development programmes, skill development programmes etc. are organised by the carrier guidance and placement cell.
• Classes are conducted to familiarize the students with interview and group discussion techniques. Mock interviews and group discussions are conducted to build the confidence of the students.
• Classes are also provided to acquaint the students with resume and covering letter preparation.
• The placement cell coordinator interacts with and invites potential recruiters for campus placements. Those companies which approach the institution for placement are invited after a back ground screening.
• The individual department coordinates with the career guidance and placement cell in different activities involved in job seeking and employment process.
• The students are made aware of the employment opportunities and vacancies through the cell coordinators and information on the college notice board.
• Students are also directed to the respective institutions and firms if the recruitment is conducted outside the campus.
• Candidates selected for GD and interviews are given special training and tips by the coordinator.
