Public College, Samana, was established in 1969 is a higher education institute located in Samana, Punjab, India. The college has been affiliated with Punjabi University, Patiala. The college started providing excellent services in the field of higher education in this predominantly rural and backward area in the district of Patiala. PC’s aim is to provide opportunities for education to students so that they contribute to building a strong and modern India and to design programs for training students to immerse in scientific, logical, and critical thinking for encountering challenges.

Public College offers various graduation and post-graduation courses under humanities, commerce, computers, and agriculture streams. The goal of the college is to impart holistic education with the intention to make the students of this largely rural region, time and market-relevant, globally competent, morally upright, and socially responsible people.
