Transport

QIS Educational Institutions Transport policy aimed at aligning the demand and supply of the Institutional transport services through effective management of the Institutional vehicles, increasing staff and students understanding of the overall institutional fleet programs, Provide greater accountability of the Institutional fleet, comprehensively operate, maintain and repair vehicles to acceptable safety standards.

Vision

The vision of Transport department is to provide affordable & quality transportation service to students and staff members of QIS Educational Institutions and to be widely recognized as the premiere provider of transportation in our country.

Mission

The mission of Transportation department is to provide safe, effective and efficient transportation to and from the intuition for eligible students and staff members. It is the further responsibility of the Transportation department to provide such services economically and in accordance with sound management policies and procedures under the direction of the Institutional Transportation Committee.

Accommodation

Separate hostels have been provided for boys and girls in ongole town with all facilities to provide homely accommodation to about 600 inmates. Healthy and hygienic food, telephone, Internet facility, round the clock security and general stores are made available at the hostel.

The inmates include students from different parts of the state. College bus facility has been provided for the conveyance of the student.

About Physical Education

QISCET has well equipped games and sports department under charge of physical director. QISCET believes in a sound mind in sound body. Students are encouraged to play various indoor and outdoor games and sports participation in competition is also encouraged. QISCET conducted tournaments and summer coaching camps in various games and sports. Students participated in university, state and national level tournaments.

Canteen

QIS Canteen is a self-service cafeteria operative since 2002. A diverse menu with a range of delicacies is offered at subsidized pricing. QIS is keen on adhering to its Health and Hygiene Policy and it is for this reason that the canteen is not outsourced but is monitored directly by the Institute. However, it is worthwhile mentioning here that the scope of the canteen is not deemed to be confined to merely satiating the appetite. It is also about bonding, sharing, networking, discussion and fun. We all know pretty well that a lot can happen over a cup of coffee, don’t we?

Dispensary

With a view to providing round-the-clock medical aid to the students and staff, a full-fledged dispensary is set up on the campus with exclusive male and female recovery rooms. Well-qualified and experienced doctors and nurses are available all the time to attend emergencies. Visits by specialists are arranged periodically and when the condition warrants external consultancy, transport is arranged by the institute. This apart, by an understanding of good will, most major hospitals in Ongole offer concessional consultancy, tests and treatment.
