Academics & Faculty :
- The daily routine includes going to classes and attending the lectures and attending various guest lectures which provide the good knowledge and the corporate exposure.
- The quality of teaching is one of the bests and most of the time the method of teaching involves PPTs and various practical ways of stock market analysis etc.
- The overall experience in the college is mixed up with great teachers and small college campus with good staff and a very efficient placement team.
Entrance Exams & Admissions :
- The eligibility criteria for MBA course is we have to be a graduate with a B.tech/ B.E/ B.Com degree with at least 50% aggregate marks. For admission in RIIM the seeker should have cleared any MBA entrance exam like CAT, MAT etc.
-The entrance exam that I took for admission in RIIM was MAT and I scored 75% through which I got the admission.
Placements & Internships :
- I haven't done any of the internships till now , but I have started an internship from Getmyuni Bangalore and the stipend is rs 5000.
- The key positions that companies come to our campus are for Management trainee, sales executive , Relationship Manager etc i.e. the designations that fit for good management entrance positions.
-The average salary figure for most of the college students is INR 4 lakhs and the highest salary would be INR 6.5 lakhs and the percentage of the batch that generally gets placed from the college is 85% and most of the rest 50% take placement from outside.
-It is a newly setup college so the alumni network is not very big.
Fees & Scholarships :
-The college fees at the time of my admission were near to INR 2.5 lakhs per year and this may vary according to the course selection of the seekers.
-If the students have the good score in their graduation and 11th and 12th standard there is a possibility of getting scholarships up to 30% -40%.
- In my time the number of students who got the scholarship was 15 and one of them got 100% scholarship in the main college.
- In most of the MBA courses, the loan is needed for the students who cannot afford to give the fees at that time but the banks will provide loans easily based on the documents provided by the college.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities :
- There are two hostels, one for the boys and one for the girls. The hostel fees for both the boys and the girls is Rs 99,000 for one year, which will be approx INR 10,000 per month for the students.
- The options of living outside the college are generally preferable because of the high cost of the hostel accommodation.
-The food in the college is mainly vegetarian and doesn't have a good taste as the mess cooks are not experienced and are not professionals in their work.
Clubs & Associations :
-The different committees include discipline committee, placement cell, but no lies to be told there are generally not many inspiring social events being organized in the college.
-There is generally a sports event after the first semester and some events being organized at the time of the Ganpati puja festival in the college.
- The life in the college is very good with a lot of scope for learning.
