Many private schools like D.A.V. PUBLIC SCHOOL, SAI INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL etc. comes and students are recruited.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The Admission Procedure for Regional Institute of Education, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, comprises of a Common Entrance Examination [CEE]. After the exam, a merit list is made on the basis of adding the marks of the CEE (60%) and 12th board (40%) which further leads to the selection process.

Fees & Scholarships : My course is BA+BEd and my course fee per year 30,000. The college provides the scholarship for the students who came from economically backward class and SCs/STs. No loans are needed.

Academics & Faculty : Class timings are from 9:00AM-5: 30 PM. The course is divided into semesters. Integrated courses are of 8 semesters and the PG courses like M.Ed/M.Phil is of 4 and 2 semesters respectively. One course year consists of 6 exams; 4 internals and 2-semester examinations. The quality of teaching is satisfactory but it can be improved. The overall experience in the college is satisfactory.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are 4 hostels; 3 for girls and 1 for boys. Hostel fee is taken in one semester(odd semester) for each course ie, Rs15000. The cost of food in hostels is RS 70 per day. The quality is satisfactory and can be improved. The infrastructure is nice.

Clubs & Associations : The main festivals or events in the hostel are namely, Ganesh puja Saraswati puja RIE STUDENTS MEET ANNUAL SPORTS MEET CULTURAL MEET LITERARY MEET HOSTEL DAYS. The overall life on campus is very good.
