College Canteen
The college has its spacious and well furnished two campus canteens separately for boys and girls. The New canteen for the boys is now housed in a double storey building near the main entrance of the College. Both the canteens are inspected daily by the college Resident Medical Officer for the maintenance of proper cleanliness and hygienic conditions. The rate of various articles is fixed by the college authorities. The rate list is displayed at its cash counter. The students are advised to visit the college canteen for light refreshment and meals. Purchases from shops outside the college campus should be discouraged. There is separate seating arrangement for students and members of the staff.
Library
The college library has a valuable collection of books on topics of curriculum as well as general interest. To keep the stock up to-date, new books are added at regular intervals.Rules for the Issue of Books
No student is permitted to enter the library without his/her identity-cum-library card.
The student who possess identity card, can get 2 books issued for 8 days. A fine of Rs.10/- per day will be charged after the due date.
A book issued can be recalled anytime by the librarian.
Reference Books, Periodicals, Magazines and Newspapers are not to be issued, however they may be used for consultation within the library.
In case of loss/damage of books borrowed, a student shall be liable to pay the cost of the book lost or defaced/damaged.
Students are expected to observe silence in the library.
Students shall keep their belongings at the library entrance with the library attendant.
The library will be closed once a year for stock checking. All the books borrowed must be returned as notified by the Principal/Librarian.
The College has three excellent hostels for Boys and Girls located separately. The hostels provide very congenial and homely atmosphere to students. These hostels are equipped with modern amenities and facilities. These hostels keep a strict vigil on the inmates and discipline of a very high order is maintained in the hostels.
Rules regarding payment of Hostel Charges
The amount of security is refundable/adjustable as and when the student leaves the hostel or the mess is closed permanently.
In case a student does not pay the hostel charges by the due date, it shall be the responsibility of the Warden to insure that such student does not continue to stay / reside in the hostel.
Once a student is admitted to the hostel he/she cannot stop paying the hostel rent on the plea that he/she has stopped residing in the hostel.
In order to vacate the hostel accommodation, the student is required to obtain the prior permission of the Provost/Warden and send a prior intimation to the college office positively. If the name of the student is struck off due to non payment of hostel dues from the list of hostlers he/she can be allowed re-admission with the approval of Principal.
The college has its own Health Centre and resident Medical Officer is available to the students. They are advised to call at the college clinic whenever indisposed ill. It is better to seek Medical Aid as soon as the need arise, than to allow the disease to become complicated.
