Infrastructure :-
Mahajana First Grade College is located in Jayalakshmipuram - the prime residential locality of Mysore. It is easily accessible from the vantage points of the city through public modes of transportation.
The campus has a total area of 9,14,760 sq.ft with a built up area of 3,25,600 sq.ft and an open area of 5,98,160 sq.ft. The campus is spread over an area of 6 acres comprising multi-storeyed buildings and well developed infrastructure to facilitate all round progress of students.
Laboratories
The college has well-equipped laboratories, rich in facilities, for various disciplines like Bio-technology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Physics, Electronics, Computer Science, Criminology & Forensic Science, Geography and Psychology. A Business Lab is also set up to facilitate teaching of Commerce and Management subjects. Language lab is being setup to
enhance communication skills among students by offering add-on course in English grammar usage and phonetics.
Library
The library is housed in a separate wing with an independent Reference Section. It has a collection of 32,064 books, leading journals and periodicals numbering 75 including a few international journals such as Harvard Business Review, National Geography and Political Weekly etc. In the era of information dissemination, the library has succeeded in upgrading itself to modern technology. The fully automated library has its entire repository bar coded. It is in possession of a digital collection of 850 prized CDs on important subjects. Auditorium & Open Air Theatre
The institution has two auditoriums: Vivekananda Hall and Silver Jubilee Open Air Theatre. These are well equipped with public address system and acoustics and cater to the requirements of assemblage on a variety of occasions. The pride of the college is its two state-of-the-art Audio - Visual Centres: AVC - I and AVC - II.
Stadium and Gymnasium
The college has Jagadeesh Prasad Stadium, where facilities for outdoor and in-door sports are provided. It has a Multi-Gymnasium with good instructional facility. A state-of-the-art Indoor stadium is being planned.
Sports
Students are encouraged to participate in all kinds of sports and games and attain robust physical fitness through sportsmanship. The College regularly
holds Annual Athletic Meet, inter-class competitions and hosts the Sri R.V. Ganesh Memorial City Inter-collegiate Volleyball and Sri Rattehalli Ramappa Memorial Throwball tournaments. College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : I am staying in hostel I paid 20000 for per year and I have to pay extra money for food.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : Admission criteria on the basis of the Entrance examination, conducted by the University of Mysore.
Placements & Internships : It's not like I haven't done an internship but I worked in Microbiological lab. In this lab I worked on food poisoning m.orgs.
Fees & Scholarships : 60000 rupees but i m from outside Karnataka there for I paid extra 4900 rupees....
Clubs & Associations : Students are very friendly with us even teachers are also friendly with us.

Placements & Internships : That will be decided by college..and by the companies...who came for the campus interview in the college

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There is one girls hostel. And it costs 4k(INR) per month including food. There many PG's which are available around the college for both boys and girls. And it costs 4k(INR) per month in an average. The food in college canteen is good and the cost is affordable. Classroom and so spacious and some are e-classrooms, Labs are well equipped, there is a huge collection of books in a library, there is a big playground and also indoor play area.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility was the 12th pass of any equivalent. First, the interested students should get an application form and should submit it on the prescribed date. There is no any other entrance exams are necessary. But the student should have a minimum prescribed marks as per the college's criteria. The minimum cutoff's for BCom will be around 75%. As I'm being a student in that college it was a great experience and I got many things to learn.
Placements & Internships : IT, BPO, INSURANCE etc. Minimum 2 lakhs(INR) per annum. There is an average of 40% who gets placed. There is huge alumni network.
Fees & Scholarships : 25k(INR) per year. All government scholarships and other institutional scholarships are available. 80% of students get the benefits each year. No loans needed.
Academics & Faculty : There will be 10:00 am to 3:00 pm regular classroom training. There are very well experienced faculties so that the quality of teaching was so good. They also use to conduct many workshops for students. It was an overall personality development programme that we had in our college.
Clubs & Associations : There 128 different committee's in college, including students parliament. The club's and committees are run by both students and faculty together. There are many cultural festivals, management fests, sports meets. The life in college was simply awesome.
