SDLCE Kakatiya University

Kakatiya University was founded on the year 19th August 1976. The mission of the university is to spread education in different sectors so that all the barriers can be removed that traditionally destroy access to university education. The objective of this university is to provide education to a disadvantaged group of people living in rural areas who do not have access to higher education. Another objective is to improve the education system especially in rural areas and develop some initiative courses which will help them to improve their education.

The University is situated in Historical Town, Warangal, and is an important town in the north Telangana region. In the Warangal area, there are many tourist places like The Bhadrakali Temple, The Pakhal Lake, and The Wild Life Sanctuary, Kazipat a railway junction, Kakatiya musical garden.

Kakatiya University Admission provides various programs at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The University provides quality education to the students. It has attended many International and Indian seminars and bought prosperity for their excellent research.

• There is a school in the University as well. The School is located on the Main Campus of Kakatiya University.
• The buildings include the administrative block as well as the academic block. These two blocks accommodate the main Academic Division, Computer Labs, Media Production Unit, Library and Reading Hall, Course Material Issuing Centre, Student Admission and Registration (SRED), Training Institute (DEQSTI), Research Cell, Finance Accounts and Administration, Central Stores, Examination Unit, etc.
• A vast playground comprising of an athletic track, fields for football and indoor facilities for volleyball, badminton existing in the university campus are available for sports and games facilities for all the students.

Kakatiya University, School of Distance Learning and Continuing Education Scholarships:
