Scholarships at School of Engineering-Sir Padampat Singhania University, Udaipur:
Meritorious Student Scholarship:
- The student securing (overall) 80% and above in class XII from any recognized board is eligible to get the scholarship.
- 15% to 50% of academic fee based on the personal interview of the student at the time of their admission.
Sibling Fee Waiver:
- 15% of tuition fee waiver for one of the students in all semester.
For Economically Challenged Candidate:
- The candidate with good academics can apply for fee waiver along with the proper document proof of income of the parent(s)/guardian.
Norms for Awarding “Sushila Singhania Scholarship”:
- The overall topper of the University in the semester – 100%
- Students securing [in the semester] GPA of and above – 9.0 / 70%
- Students who stood first in each discipline in the semester provided he/ she has secured GPA of 8.0 and above and the minimum number of students in the class should not be less than 10 – 60%
Other Scholarships:
- SPSU also offers scholarships to meritorious students with a weak economic background and on humanitarian considerations.
- Since inception SPSU has given nearly Rs. 5 crores in Scholarships.

Fees & Scholarships : The fees of the School of Engineering-Sir Padampat Singhania University, Udaipur is INR 2,35,000 per year. There are no scholarship opportunities, and nobody has received one. The students might have to apply for loans from an SBI or any government banks.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : The students obtain admission based on their JEE Mains or RPET marks. There are no cutoffs. The college offers admission if they have vacant seats.
Placements & Internships : The college offers internships at BHEL, Bhopal, with no stipend. There are no placement opportunities. Graduates can earn up to INR 4,00,000 per annum, and the average salary is INR 2,40,000 per 10% of the students from the batch have got placed.There are no alumni groups.
Academics & Faculty : The college timing is 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Teaching quality is good. However, the method of teaching and the technologies are flawed. My experience with college is average.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are five boy's hostels and three girl's hostels. The annual fee includes the hostel and mess fee. Students should mandatorily stay at the college hostels. There are no options for PGs. The food is average. The quality of the classroom is poor. Labs and libraries are good. The dining hall is spacious, and they provide a good WiFi connection.
Clubs & Associations : There are no sports clubs, but they have irrelevant clubs which is of no use. The sports and cultural events are conducted once a year. The students have an average life. They should get placed with their effort since the placement opportunities are rare.
