Sikkim University offers scholarships to eligible applicants. Scholarships are offered based on academic performance and economically disadvantaged students. Scholarship for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/NER

Students admitted to Sikkim University who fall into the above categories are eligible for UGC scholarships and fellowships. The following scholarships are available:

Merit-Cum-Means Scholarship

Sikkim University students enrolled in many disciplines can apply for merit-cum-means scholarships. The award is open to students with an average household income of less than Rs. 60,000 per year. Students who have not received any other scholarship or financial aid are eligible for the Sikkim University scholarship. Students may apply the approved form and a copy of their parent's income certificate to the Dean of Students' Welfare's office (DSW). The program is not open to international students. The scholarship at offers Rs. 3000 per month to the students, including the tuition and laboratory fee waivers.
