Merit Scholarships for Sports Players

This scholarship is for the applicants who have represented the institute at various National School Games, Inter-University Tournaments, Sports Championships and so on. The applicant's age should be between 17 to 26 years, and they must commit to continuing sports as a permanent career.

The candidates who wish to avail of this scholarship must submit essential documents like State of Purpose, which highlights their long-term academic goals and motivation for applying to the scholarship. Also, the aspirants must produce their Aadhaar card for the verification of their identity and also produce important certificates which prove their merit in the sports field. Women's Scholarship

The family income of the applicant who wants to avail of this scholarship should be less than INR 5 Lakhs. Additionally, the candidates should have secured 70% marks on an average throughout 10th, 12th and graduation. This scholarship is applicable both at the time of admission and also during the course progression.

This scholarship grants up to 50% concession on the tuition fees to the selected students. The aspirants should produce the following documents in order to avail the scholarship.

Aadhaar Card: For identity verification.
Bank Statements: Last 6 months for earning family members (parents and siblings).
Proof of Residence: Recent electricity bill, water bill, or rental agreement (last 3 months).
Academic Records: Latest mark sheet for academic eligibility
Statement of Purpose (SOP): Outlining academic goals, career aspirations, and motivation for applying.
Income Certificate: Issued by a government authority from the current or previous financial year.
EWS Certificate: Official government-issued certificate from the current or previous year, if applicable.

EWS Scholarship

The EWS Scholarship grants candidates who belong to the economically weaker section with the EWS scholarship. The annual family income of the applicants should not be more than INR 8 Lakhs to be considered eligible for this scholarship.

The students belonging to the economically weaker sections of the society can avail up to 100% scholarship on the total course fee. Apart from the general EWS category students, candidates with disabilities are granted a 50% concession on the tuition fee.

Further, the wards of the defence personnel are also granted a 50% rebate on the course fee. The applicants must submit the necessary documents as proof highlighting their need for the scholarship. These documents include the following.

EWS Certificate: The official government-issued certificate from the current or previous year is required for selection in the scholarship.
Aadhaar Card: For identity verification.
Statement of Purpose (SOP): Outlining academic goals, career aspirations, and motivation for applying.
Income Certificate: This certificate issued by a government authority from the current or previous financial year is also required to be produced at the time of document verification.
