Infrastructure :-
Hostel
The college has well equipped hostel accommodation for approximately 250 girls coming from rural and remote areas.The facilities provided by the hostel include safe drinking water facility, hygienic mess providing nutritious food, well maintained lawns and neat and clean washrooms. The hostel has separate generator that provide power back up as and when needed. The common room of the hostel is used for the recreation purposes. The activities of the hostel include farewell party to the outgoing hostlers, celebrations of religious functions namely Janamashtami, Diwali and Gurpurabs by the students.
The Library is a spacious, well-lit and well ventilated with ample sitting capacity comprising of three Reading halls, Technical section, Reference section and Internet room.
Multimedia
We have a well equipped air-conditioned multimedia room fitted with Interactive Board, Projector, Amplifier, Laptop, UPS, Mike, Speaker etc.
Auditorium
Auditorium has 650 seating capacity with Integrated light and sound, well designed acoustics, motorized curtains, attached ample green room, multimedia enabled, catwalk mounted lights and dynamically control LED lights.
Smart Classes
The college has 12 smart classes with start of art touch boards. High resolution projectors give a crystal sharp image and sharper visibility for students sitting even in the farthest corners of classrooms.
Student Centre
The College has Student Center cum Canteen.It is the space for fun and frolic as well as it is a food zone.
College Bus
The college has a 36 seater bus to cater to transportation needs of the college. Students can avail its service for excursions, industry visits, educational tours and University visits on Youth Festival events.
Power Backup
Generator sets of 80KVA support the college in time of power cuts. In addition to this , we have 35KVA of invertor setup which are solar power capable. The setup can be coverted to solar power charging at a very short notice when ever the need and oppurtunity arises.
EDU-SAT
The college is running EDU-SAT (Educational Satalite) program being offered by Govt. Of Punjab. Online lectures are delivered on subject matter and other affiliate topics. Unique feature of the program is its interactivity as communication is bidirectional as opposed to one sided communication in usual cases. Students can ask questions and get answers from the lecturer delivering lecture in Mohali.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Equipped with the facilities and qualified staff, the college boasts of a pollution-free and grand campus with the green cover in the posh area of the city. Admission is on the Merit Basis. Cut-Offs are decided year by year on the basis of results announced.
Placements & Internships : 46 students (B.C.A, B.Com, B.B.A Sem.VI) participated in the drive-by AON at ACET Amritsar on Jan.21,2016 and 04 students of B.C.A Sem. I was selected. 29 students of B.Com. participated in placement drive by My Operator at ACET, Amritsar on Feb. 06, 2016 and 04 students were selected. 63 students(B.C.A,B.B.A and B.Com.) participated in placement drive by eClerx Services Ltd. at Global Institutes, Amritsar on Feb. 15, 2016, and 09 students were selected.
Fees & Scholarships : College is providing quality and affordable education to girls. Only university fees are charged from students in SR Govt College for Women, Amritsar. There are no extra tuition fees. Also for the students of SC/ST/OBC quota, the fees are just INR 20/-
