Entrance Exams & Admissions : Admission criteria were based on the only merit at Sri Sivasubramaniya Nadar College of Engineering. There is no concept of donations in our college. Eligibility criteria were very good scores in class 12th examination. Then the shortlisted candidates have to give a written exam and an interview conducted by the college. Admissions are given based on the cumulative scores in these tests. A minimum cutoff of 190 /200 is needed to get shortlisted for other rounds.

Placements & Internships : I am scheduled to do my internship in IOT at Bangalore this summer. Amazon, Flipkart, temenos, l&t, fuji xerox and other premier recruiters visit Sri Sivasubramaniya Nadar College of Engineering campus. The average salary is Rs. 4 lakhs per annum, highest salary being Rs. 13 lakhs, with a 100% placement record since inception. Alumni are spread across the world. Many working at best companies like apple, Microsoft and others pursuing higher education at premier institutions.

Fees & Scholarships : Nearly Rs. 1.7 lakhs per year is a fee at Sri Sivasubramaniya Nadar College of Engineering. We have merit, sports scholarships and other scholarships for economically challenged. An average of 75 students gets scholarships. The necessity of loans depends on student status. If loans are needed, they are easily available from banks like TMB, SBI, etc.

Academics & Faculty : In Sri Sivasubramaniya Nadar College of Engineering class starts at 8 am and ends at 3:30 pm. We have plenty of project opportunities at the college. We also have a periodic test and at last Our semester examination. Faculties are highly qualified and experienced. The college uses smart classes for lectures. Overall, the college experience is great.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : We have 5 boys hostels and 3 girls hostels which are pretty decent in Sri Sivasubramaniya Nadar College of Engineering. Hostel rent per year is Rs. 50,000. PGs are not available easily as the college is located on the city outskirts. The cost of meals per day is Rs. 81. The quality of classrooms, WiFi, libraries and other facilities are second to none.

Clubs & Associations : Sri Sivasubramaniya Nadar College of Engineering has entrepreneurship club, tech club, music club, quiz club, mun society and other clubs to keeps us engaged. Our tech fest is called invented, cultural fest instincts and other symposiums. College life, in general, is smooth.
