College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : St. Joseph's College has got a big library enough to meet your requirements for the BA and MA courses. It has also got basic books to start a research programme. The campus is well developed and has got an adventure park and a garden. It's also famous for the indoor stadium and sports
Entrance Exams & Admissions : St.Joseph College provides you with a large library and faculties to assist your academics and in developing your talents. All the professors in the English department are permanent staffs. Three of them have doctorate and rest of them are pursuing their PhD without affecting the smooth running of academic activities. All the professors are devoted and dedicated to the betterment of the students. Exams are conducted regularly according to the schedule and certificates will be issued on the declared date. The even though library is not huge; it's big enough to assist you on your BA and MA course. It has got enough books to assist you with basic books needed for you to start a research. Application for the admission to the college will be available online after the results of Calicut university UG results are published. There are no entrance exams and the admission is purely based on the marks obtained by students in the UG course. Students are expected to have at least 80 % marks in their Ug course. There are 5 management seats for the MA programme which also requires at least 70% in their UG course.
Placements & Internships : Placements in St. Joseph's College is not appreciable even though there will be companies visiting the college for campus recruitments.
Fees & Scholarships : The course fee at St. Joseph's College is up to Rs. 4,600 per year for students who got the seat through merit and up to Rs. 20,000 for the students in management seats. Scholarships options are available for the OBC and SC/ST categories and students scoring top positions. All the OBC and SC/ST students will get scholarships. Loans are not needed for the completion of course as the fees are affordable.
Academics & Faculty : Class timing at St. Joseph's College is from 9 am to 3.30 pm. Last 45minutes(2.45pm to 3.30pm) is supposed to be spent inside the library. There will be one final year project and each course paper will be having an assignment and one seminar. The faculties are excellent and dedicated. Overall experience in college is good.
