There are several PGs outside the college.
The food in the college is not of good quality. One meal costs around INR 50.
There are several pocket-friendly restaurants near the college.
The classrooms are spacious and neat.
We have a theatre, auditorium and a seminar hall on the campus.
The labs are designated to different departments like physics, chemistry, biology, computer and physical education lab.
The Wi-Fi is secured with a password, and only the faculty can access it.
Fees & Scholarships :
St Paul's College, [SPC] Kochi Fee Structure. The course fee is about INR 2,000 per year for students enrolled through general merit as the college is government-funded.
There are several scholarships available for students. However, a large amount is funded by the government, and they are given based on caste.
There are no loans needed if you are enrolled through merit or reservation. The fees will be between INR 7,000 to INR 20,000 for the whole course. However, it may vary for self-financed courses.
Academics & Faculty :
The online classes are from 8:30 am to 2:00 pm. The offline classes are from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm.
There are six semesters in a three-year course.
You'd have an assignment every semester which are considered for internal marks.
You will also have a project in the 6th semester.
The exams are conducted according to Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, as the college is aided.
The quality and method of teaching are efficient as most of the teachers are highly qualified and experienced.
The overall experience of the college is good.
Clubs & Associations :
There are different clubs on the campus, like women cell, oratory clubs, literature clubs, environmental clubs, social clubs, and student associations like NSS and NCC.
The main festivals on the campus are college union day, college arts festival, sports day and an inter-college festival solely organised by the students.
All the native festivals are celebrated in the college.
The college life is good.
