The Centre is situated in the heart of Hyderabad, about 3 K.M. from Begumpet Airport. The Centre is housed in the 5 acre campus given by Osmania University in the premises of the Nizamiah Observatory at Begumpet. The main building has an administrative wing, faculty rooms, seminar rooms, lecture halls, a cartographic laboratory and computer and data-processing unit. There are also separate buildings Auditorium, Seminar hall, Visiting Faculty quarters, Library and the Guest house. There is a canteen which caters to the campus community and guests. The canteen offers simple meals at moderate rates.

Library

The Centre’s library has a total collection of over 30,000 books and other volumes. It receives about 150 plus Indian and foreign periodicals. The library has a collection of 2737 bounded volumes of journals. As the only depository library of the World Bank in the state of Andhra Pradesh, the Centre has access to full-text publications of all the Bank’s research publications, which are of immense value to the research community. The library is getting 14 daily newspapers and one magazine for its users. The library is also subscribing CMIE (Economic Intelligence Service) for its users.
