Entrance Exams & Admissions :
No entrance exam is conducted for admission procedures. Admissions are given on merit basis only. Candidates who had scored atleast 45% in class 10th and class 12th are eligible for filling the application form. Then, aggregrate is calculated as 40% of class 10th marks and 60% of class 12th marks. Some 3% to 5% is added if you are from minority, EWS, SC/ST, OBC, NCC, disabilities and other reserved categories. Cutoff for BCOM, BCA, BBA get higher as 89% to 60% in different merit lists. Usually last cut off can somewhere between 55% to 65%.
Placements & Internships :
College doesn't support any internships for candidate. But, teachers can help to get some internships for talented students by their own cotacts. Placement cells are also not organised by college. One can get job or internships from other platforms outside the college only.
Fees & Scholarships :
Fees for BCA is around 31000 per year. Fees are variable from year to year. Fees in my first year is 30700, in second year it was 28050 and in third year it was 30955. You have to pay full fees within 4-5 days of announcement/notice, which is circulated before college atudies are started. Loans are not needed as average student can handle the fees.
Academics & Faculty :
For BCA, classes are organised in afternoon only. Usually from 12pm to 6pm. Projects or file submission is done only once a year in February or March month. Written and practical exams are held once in a year around April-May period. Assignment submission is also done with practicals only. Quality of teaching is below average. Their is no permanent faculty for 70% subjects. Guest faculties are appointed which can be good or not that great in teaching. Faculties are able to complete 70% to 80% of the syllabus only. 20% of faculties are able to complete the syllabus on time. Overall, student can't be dependent on faculty for exams. He can study from internet, where all topics are covered with simple explanation and free of cost. Then he can solve his doubts regarding the subject from college faculty.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities :
There are 2 hostels of college. Hostel fee is calculated on yearly basis only. Per year it can be around 15000 rs per student. Fees can be variable as per hostel regulators. There are many PG's and other accomodation facilities around the college area or in the Jaipur city. Students can choose according to his needs and budget. Their is a small canteen in the college which provides Kachori (12 rs), Aalu pettis(15 rs), Snacks(10 -20 rs) and cold drinks(10 -50 rs). You will get fresh, hot and spicy Kachori, pettis every time you want. Also, freezers are maintained efficiently for cold drinks. Labs are good enough to perform practicals with AC installations and individual PCs are provided for practical purpose. But, PCs are not upgraded (still running on windows 7 ), which can give you old vibes, still they will help you to perform pracricals. Also, no internet connection is provided to the PCs. Library is well maintained. But, only course related books are available in the library. No magazines, novels and newspaper are provided. Also, you can borrow maximum 5 books at a time which can be borrowed till your final exams (maximum) (you can exchange or return any time you want). Also, you can borrow on specific date only which is provided 5 to 7 times in a year. Wi-fi is not enabled for students and general staff. You will get purified and chilled drinking water. Also, students who are better in sports are given training through qualified coach get chance to play in inter college, state level competitions. Parking facility is provided for college students for free of cost.
Clubs & Associations :
Student societies or associations are awesome here. They provide good suppport for newcomers and give all important information through social media. They can also help the classes to solve the issue regarding faculty or infrastructure. Student Association leaders are very humble and can be communicated easily. Freshers party, NSS, NCC camps, sport festivals are organised at least once in a year. There are very less festivals organised but you will get notified prior for participation. Also, students are invited through college notice. You can not expect much cultural activities in the college as two or three are conducted in a year. Students are also not such interested in college festivals. Generally, students attend the classes or join coaching classes for competition level exams.
