• The GATE 2025 admit cards for the MTech course have been published. Registered applicants can log in and download their admission cards from the official site. The GATE 2025 exam will take place on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025.
  

Kashmir University was established in 1948 under the University of Jammu and Kashmir. KU has been re-accreditated by NAAC with an "A" grade for portraying high-quality standards in teaching and research. It offers 107 courses at UG, PG, and doctoral levels. As per the NIRF 2024 Ranking, the university ranks 45th among the top universities in India.

Kashmir University admissions for programmes offered through Distance mode are open now. Admission 2025 for MTech, LLB, BTech(Lateral entry), MPharm, LLM, and BA LLB is in process. The university accepts scores of entrance examinations such as JEE Main, GATE, CMAT, and GPAT for admission to the B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA, and M.Pharm programs.

All significant faculties offer courses, including arts, science, engineering, management, law, education, medicine, etc. It also provides distance education. The Kashmir University placement details for 2024 are not yet available. However, as per NIRF report 2023, the UG students median package ranged between INR 5.0 LPA and INR 8.0 LPA. The PG students median package was INR 7.0 LPA. Some of the top recruiters include HCL, IBM, HP, HUL, HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, Idea, Airtel and Wipro.

Kashmir University Admission

Kashmir University admission 2025 is ongoing. The admissions to courses like B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA, and M.Pharm are based on the entrance exams such as JEE Main, GATE, CMAT, and GPAT. About 67% of the total seats in a course or a program are filled by open merit category candidates, and the remaining 33% by reserved classes. Foreign or NRI students will not have to go through the entrance exam of Kashmir University for admission. The Kashmir University admission process is explained below.

• Step 2: Click on the Downloads tab in Kashmir University to apply online.
• Step 3: Download the Application form by clicking on the link provided.

• Step 5: Send the auto-generated form with the fee receipt to the Office of Development Council and the required documents.

Kashmir University Cutoff

Kashmir University cutoff 2024 has not yet been released. There are 107 courses offered at the university. For most courses, admission is given based on a cutoff declared by the university. The cutoff will be determined based on seat availability and reservation categories. The students need to meet the basic cutoff set by the university. Admission to various courses is based on the college's cutoff criteria, eligibility norms, and procedures.
