Uttarakhand Sanskrit University was established on 21 Apr 2005. It is an  Indian State university located in the city of Haridwar, Uttarakhand. Established in 2005, the university offers certificate courses, diplomas, undergraduate education, postgraduate education, doctoral programmes and master of philosophy courses in various disciplines.There are different faculties present at the University like ,Faculty of Education,Faculty of Linguistics and Translation,Faculty of Philosophy,Faculty of Sahitya,Faculty of Vyākaraṇa,Faculty of Adhunik Gyan Vigyan

Eligibility Criteria at Uttarakhand Sanskrit University, Haridwar

• Candidates must secure 55% in their Higher Secondary Examination in order to apply at the University
• For postgraduate courses, the candidate must secure a minimum of 50% in their Higher Secondary Examination as well as the undergraduate course they have pursued prior to the course they wish to pursue presently
• SC/ST students must secure 50% in their Higher Secondary Examination in order to apply at the University
