About the University

Established in 1972, VNMKV, Parbhani, is one of Maharashtra's four agricultural universities, accredited by UGC and ICAR. The university offers UG, PG, MBA, and PhD programs across various disciplines with placements in government and industrial sectors, including roles like Food Safety Officer and Field Officer.

Programs Offered

• UG Courses: B.Sc (Hons.) in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Community Science, B.F.Sc, and B.Tech in Agricultural Engineering, Food Technology, and Biotechnology (4 years).
• PG Courses: M.Sc (Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Agricultural Biotechnology, Post-Harvest Management), M.F.Sc, and M.Tech (2 years).
• MBA: Specialization in Agriculture (2 years).
• PhD Programs: Six specializations, including Agriculture, Food Technology, and Biotechnology.

Admissions Process

• UG Courses: Based on MAH-CET/JEE/NEET/AIEEA-UG scores and HSC marks.
• PG Courses: MCAER PG-CET scores with 70% weightage on entrance exams and 30% on qualifying degree marks.
• MBA: MCAER PG-CET scores and a B.Sc in Agriculture or related fields.
• PhD: PhD CET scores and relevant postgraduate qualifications.

Application Process
Applications are submitted online via the university portal. Fees: ₹1500 for open category/out-of-state students, ₹750 for reserved categories in Maharashtra.

Required Documents
UG: Class 10 & 12 marksheets, entrance exam scorecard, caste and domicile certificates (if applicable).
PG: Graduation marksheets, migration certificate, caste certificate, and other relevant documents.
PhD: Postgraduate degree, PhD CET scorecard, and other credentials.
