Campus :-

VICT offers the best infrastructure facilities to the students. The institute’s building has been architecturally and aesthetically laid out amidst a serene environment. The campus of the institute has been designed by the leading architects with landscape courtyard and blossomed gardens which add beauty to the atmosphere of the classrooms.

The classrooms are furnished with modern reading arrangements with facilities using projectors, audio visual aids, CCTV cameras etc. The institute provides a range of facilities to support our students in their studies and give access to a wealth of materials, equipments and information. It is beautifully landscaped to house academic blocks, computer centre, library, seminar hall, cafeteria, indoor/ outdoor sports complex etc.

Library

A library is the nerve centre of learning in the institute as it acts as the nucleus for the well-balanced collection of books, journals and periodicals in various fields of Engineering. It forms an extremely important part of the institute and hence special attention is given for its developmental growth. The library is committed to offer rapid response to meet the needs of a growing student and faculty community. The library is well equipped and stocked with books, journals and magazines relevant to engineering discipline.

At present the library contains more than 7,964 volumes of publications including textbooks, reports and proceedings, a fine collection of dictionaries, thesaurus, encyclopaedia, handbooks, standards and data compilations and 67 national as well as 30 international journals in the field of computer, electrical, electronics and instrumentation & information technology.

Multimedia based learning resources are available along with video CDs on case studies, compiled by industrial experts and National/International engineering institutes/Universities, departments and research organizations.

The library is equipped with SOUL Software (automated circulation), DELNET database. DELNET membership provides the inter library loan facilities from a collection of over 67, 00,000 books. DELNET also has access to e-journals, e-lectures and e-books. The library also has a computerized search system to assist students in locating their information sources and also allowing them to have online access to various local and international databases.

Computer Center

The college has a well-equipped computer laboratory to cater to the requirements of the students. The laboratory is most modern and sophisticated with most up to date technology. It also provides competence to teacher trainees for techno-aided education program with emphasis on usage of latest techno devises.

Classroom

VICT has large spacious class rooms that can accommodate between 50 to 70 students. A digital projector connected to the instructor’s system is also available in every classroom.

Seminar Hall

The seminar hall can accommodate approximately 150 – 200 students. The space is air conditioned and equipped with projector, sound system and internet connection, hence suitable for conducting any seminars/ workshops.

Internet Facility

Our internet centre is open to the students as well as staff. A computing centre with 2 mbps internet connectivity is the immediate offering to the prompt students aware of the innovations in the field of communication and correspondence. The internet centre had set its wings open in the year 2009, which is needless to say, one of the resources for knowledge seeking students in the present technological world.

VICT Cafeteria

Cafeteria is the place where students wind up in groups and creative brilliance reflects. VICT’s cafeteria provides hygienic food as well as vibrant ambience.

Sports Facility

Sports facilities are available for the physical development of the students. Special efforts are made to develop outdoor facilities in the campus as well in the hostel. Regular exercise enhances the sense of mental well-being along with the general physical health. The institute has facilities for indoor games like chess & carom as well as outdoor games like cricket, football, volleyball, badminton etc.

Transportation

The college offers transportation facilities covering almost all the routes from Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar to the college campus.

To minimize the transportation problems, free shuttle van service is available for commuting from IFFCO highway to campus and from the nearest bus stop and vice versa.
