Academics & Faculty :
There is little international exposure. The student community Oscillates between good to great with some mediocre/bad specimen interspersed. As the alumni, we have the likes of Sharad Sarin, Uday Damodaran, Mohanty, Sengupta, and Sharkar. the Overall experience was a pretty good mix.
Fees & Scholarships :
Some scholarships did exist but the chances of securing one were very little. I guess it was some 10 odd students out of the lot of 180 at my time who got the scholarship. Financing options existed through tie-ups with some banks (SBI was one I remember). No on campus jobs.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities :
Tiny campus. Classrooms are right next to the college. Soccer field, basketball court, badminton, gymnasium, etc. Wifi available everywhere. Hostels are habitable. The library is average. The overall atmosphere is good. There is Camaraderie due to the campus being tiny.
Clubs & Associations :
Lots of clubs, with the most idiotic names conceivable - FINAX, MAXI, blah I (everything has to mandatorily end in X). Only one worth mentioning is OMAXI - the Old Monk Association at XLRI, a cult in itself. Annual XL-IIMC is the highlight. Campus life is Satisfactory to good.
