AIMA MAT 2021 September Examination Dates Released

AIMA, or the All India Management Association, has published the MAT 2021 September examination schedule. This year, the board has allocated an additional CBT (computer based test) examination slot. Application forms for the 2021 AIMA Management Aptitude Test are now available online. Hence, candidates can register for the aptitude examination on the official website (mat.aima.in/sep21). The MAT is a national entrance examination for admissions to MBA and PGDM courses. The exam occurs four times a year, in several exam formats. Thus, MAT qualified candidates are eligible for admissions to over 800 affiliated business schools

AIMA MAT 2021 Exam Mode Dates

The 2021 MAT is available in three modes – PBT (paper-based test), CBT (computer-based test), and IBT (remotely proctored internet-based test). Each examination mode features separate deadlines and detailed instructions. Hence, candidates should refer to the details below regarding their chosen examination mode.

Computer-Based Test

The application deadline for the MAT phase 1 CBT examination is 14 August 2021. Afterwards, candidates can download the admit card from the official website on 17 August from 4 PM.  The phase 1 examination will occur on 21 August 2021. Additionally, there will be an extra CBT exam phase due to COVID-19 constraints. Phase 2 applications will close on 4 September 2021. Afterwards, officials will release the admit card on 6 September 2021. Finally, the board will hold the phase 2 CBT examination on 12 September 2021.

Paper-Based Test

The paper-based examination will have a smaller examination window due to the current constraints placed by the COVID-19 situation. The application deadline for the AIMA PBT examination is 29 August 2021. Thus, registered candidates can download their examination hall tickets from 30 August online. The hall pass is available to download until the examination date. The board has scheduled the PBT examination for 5 September 2021.

Internet-Based Test

The IBT test will feature several testing dates and timeslots due to the accessibility of the exam mode. The IBT examination window will commence from 28 August to 12 September. Consequently, candidates will have a large registration window for the exams that go on until 9 September.
