AP EAMCET 2022 Counselling: The Dept. of Higher Education has reworked the minimum qualifying score for the AP EAMCET intermediate exams. To turn it into a one-time measure from this academic year onwards. Therefore, students who score 45% marks (40% for reserved categories) in either physics, chemistry and mathematics, or all subjects in the intermediate first year and second-year exams will be eligible for admissions to engineering and pharma courses and AP EAMCET 2022 Counselling.
Consequently, all students must note that authorities have relaxed the minimum marks in the qualifying examination intermediate or equivalent. However, this is solely for admissions and AP EAMCET 2022 Counselling, into professional UG courses in engineering and pharma-D programs. Accordingly, implementation of the new framework for minimum marks is from 2022-23, through consensus of the government of higher education (EC) department.
Earlier, candidates required to have passed the intermediate exams with 45% marks (40% for reserved categories) in PCM and got AP EAPCET 2022 scores were eligible. Presently, due to the relaxation in criteria, the total marks of all subjects in intermediate exams will be the basis of the percentage. Since the HED has relaxed the criteria confirming that the full marks of all subjects in intermediate exams will be considered to calculate the percentage. Thus students scoring 45% (40% for RC) in PCM or the aggregate marks of all subjects in the intermediate or equivalent, or ranked in EAPCET 2022 will be eligible for EAMCET or EAPCET admissions and AP EAMCET 2022 Counselling.
