BPSC 68th Registration: Last Day to Apply Extended to Dec 30, Changes in Exam Pattern Announced
The deadline to apply for the BPSC 68th combined competitive exam prelims 2023 has been extended to Dec 30. The commission has also announced some significant changes in the prelims and mains exam pattern.
BPSC 68th Registration: The Bihar Public Services Commission has extended the deadline to apply for the BPSC 68th combined competitive exam prelims 2023 to Dec 30. Candidates who failed to apply before the previous deadline can now complete the BPSC 68th Registration by visiting the official website.
Additionally, the commission has also announced several significant changes in the prelims and mains exam pattern, which candidates must be aware of while performing the BPSC 68th Registration. As per the latest announcements, the marking scheme for the prelims paper has been changed, and all the questions in the prelims will have negative markings.
In previous years, the negative marks only applied to the selected number of questions. As per the changes, the negative marking will now be applicable to all 150 questions, i.e., one mark is awarded for the correct answer, 0.25 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.

Furthermore, the commission has reduced the number of questions in the mains paper. The optional paper in the mains exam will have only 100 questions instead of 300. Moreover, the Mains paper will have Multiple Choice Questions(MCQs). Candidates must note that they must qualify for the optional paper to be shortlisted. The revised marking scheme is given below:
