BSEB Attendance Policy for Board Exam 2024: Minimum 75% Required for Class 9, 10, 11, 12
The Bihar School Education Board (BSEB) has issued clarification regarding the BSEB Attendance Policy for Board Exam 2024.
BSEB Attendance Policy for Board Exam 2024: The Bihar School Education Board (BSEB) has issued a notification regarding the Bihar Board Exam 2024 attendance policy. As per the notification released, students of classes 9, 10, 11, and 12, must have a minimum of 75% attendance for the entire academic year.
However, if a student fails to have 75% attendance, a maximum of 15% can be waived by the Board. The Board released the BSEB Attendance Policy for Board Exam 2024 as there was confusion among students who are appearing for the Intermediate final exam.
Students must have a minimum of 75% attendance in both classes 11 and 12 to appear for the Intermediate final exam. Likewise, students appearing for the matric exam must have a minimum of 75% in both classes 9 and 10.
The BSEB Attendance Policy for Board Exam 2024 stated that- " In the light of the above, it is clarified that, (i) the minimum 75% attendance will be mandatory from the day of commencement of teaching in the classes held in class 11 of Intermediate, in the period before the annual examination of class 11, otherwise the students will be demoted to class 11. Permission will not be given to appear in the 11th annual examination".
Furthermore, students whose attendance is less than 60% will be considered for forgiveness by the Board only in some exceptional circumstances such as medical emergencies.
