At Asutosh College, candidates must have achieved 50% overall and passed Mathematics and Physics to apply for an honour student in electronics.
The criteria for getting admission in Maulana Azad College’s Microbiology Honors course is that students must have an overall 60% and a 60% Chemistry score. However, if there is a tie in the calculation of the English index mark at Scottish Church College (20% of the total mark and 80% of the English mark), the Hindi / Bengali mark will be considered a tie.
Students must earn 50 per cent on the previous proficiency test to get admission into the Hindi or Bengali Honours courses at Bethune College. Regarding Hindi honours, according to the TOI report, applicants must have 50% and 50% in Hindi. For Bengali awards, applicants must have 55% and 60% grades in Bengali.
