The CAT 2022 slot 1 analysis is available for candidates who appeared for the first slot from 8.30 AM to 10.30 AM, for all three sections. The exam was for a duration of 160 minutes.

CAT 2022 Slot 1 Analysis: The CAT exam 2022 slot 1 ended today. The paper is sectioned into three parts. Candidates were allowed to spend 40 minutes for each section. The first slot earlier began at 8.30 AM and continued till 10.30 AM in the morning. The next slots are from 12.30 PM to 2.30 PM and then 4.30 PM and 6.30 PM.

Moreover, the question paper contained a total of 66 questions of a total of 198 marks. Candidates took the exam in a computer based mode. We will now go through the CAT 2022 Slot 1 Analysis for all 3 sections.

CAT 2022 Slot 1 Analysis - Section-wise Analysis

All test takers had to attempt three sections of the question paper, namely.

Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC)
Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR)
Quantitative Aptitude (QA)

Every section for CAT 2022 Slot 1 Analysis comprises 24, 20 and 22 questions likewise. A total of 66 questions needed to be completed within 120 minutes. However PwD candidates completed the paper in 160 minutes.

Section	Analysis
VARC	The overall difficulty level of VARC was moderate to tough. The section had 24 questions in total. Reading Comprehension had 16 questions with 12 ideal attempts. Verbal Ability - Parajumbles and Verbal Ability - Summary had 3 questions each with 2 ideal attempts. Verbal Ability - Parajumbles (Odd-sentence out) had 2 questions with 1 ideal attempt.
DILR	The overall difficulty level of DILR was moderate to tough. The section had 20 questions in total. Data Interpretation had 8 questions in total with 1-4 ideal attempts. Logical Reasoning had 12 questions in total with 2-3 ideal attempts.
QA	The overall difficulty level of QA was moderate. The section had 22 questions in total. Arethmatic section had 11 questions with 7-9 ideal attempts. Algebra section had 5 questions with 2-3 ideal attempts. Geometry & Mensuration section had 3 questions with 2 ideal attempts. Number system had 2 questions with 1-2 ideal attempts. Modern Mathematics had 1 question with 0-1 ideal attempt.

CAT 2022 Response Sheet and Answer Key

The official CAT 2022 answer key will soon be published by the authorities, after the release of the official response key. The response sheet is set to release 2 to 3 days after the CAT 2022 exam concludes. Although, the answer and response key are different from each other. The response sheet is to determine the probable exam results, whereas the answer key is to cross-check answers and calculate the total marks.
