CAT Exam 2022 Notification: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) is conducting the Common Admission Test (CAT) this year. IIM will release the notification for CAT 2022 this week of July 2022. They will release the exam notification for CAT 2022 on the official website. IIM Bangalore will probably conduct the CAT exam in 2022 this year. The notification will mention the dates of CAT exam 2022, registration dates of CAT, eligibility criteria, details of CAT reservations, test centres, fees, etc. In the first week of August, the CAT 2022 registration window is going to open.
CAT is a Common Admission Test and it is a computer-based test. Any one of the IIMs conducts CAT annually. The candidates who qualify for the CAT can be admitted to 2 years Business Administration Programme (PGDM/MBA) at 20 IIMs.
The CAT 2022 Notification will probably be released on the official website on 31st July 2022, Sunday. The CAT will be held on the last Sunday of November, 27th November 2022 (tentatively).

Last year’s changes in the CAT Exam 2022
- Hike for CAT application fee: Last year, IIM Ahmedabad increased the registration fee for CAT to Rs. 200. This fee is for the unreserved category. For the reserved category, the fee was Rs. 100.
- Test Cities for Cats increased: Last year, two more cities were added. Madgaon and Praygraj were two new CAT exam cities.
- Decreased number of questions in CAT: The candidates of CAT solved 66 questions in 2 hours. The distribution of questions are as follows:-
- Logical Reasoning and Data Interpretation – 20
- Reading Comprehension and Verbal Ability – 24
- Quantitative Aptitude – 22
