CBSE Class 12 Term 2 Compartment Exam to Commence From 23 August

CBSE Class 12 Term 2 Compartment Exam: Following the CBSE Class 12 Board results declaration for 2022, the CBSE Term 2 Compartment exam is scheduled to begin on 23 August 2022. The Board will conduct the examination across the country at various exam centers. 

The Board has announced that the students will be given more opportunities to improve their performance. Hence, the compartment exam will allow students to improve their performance in 1 subject. The students who appeared for six or more subjects and could not pass in any of the first five subjects except language but were declared pass by replacing 6th subject in place of the failed subject are also allowed in compartment examination to improve the performance in the failed subject. The syllabus of the examination will be that of Term 2.

CBSE 12th Board Result 2022 Highlights

The CBSE published the result of the Class 12 Board exam 2022 on 22 July. The total pass percentage is 92.71 nationwide, less than last year’s 99.37%. The girls, with a pass percentage of 94.54%, outperformed the boys, whose pass percentage was 91.25%. The district with the highest pass percentage across the country is Trivandrum, Kerala (98.16%), followed by Bangalore, Karnataka (97.79%).
