Important Instructions for CLAT 2023 Counselling Registration

Listed below are some important instructions for candidates while registering for the CLAT 2023 Counselling:

• The CLAT 2023 Counselling registration and fee payment can only be done in the online mode. No other methods have been permitted.
• Candidates must log in on the official website and check for the counselling invitation, even if they have or have not received an email or SMS. The consortium will not be responsible for any emails that were not received.
• During the registration process, general category candidates will have to pay the registration fee of INR 30,000. The registration fee is INR 20000 for candidates belonging to the SC/ST/OBC/BC/EWS/PwD categories.
• Candidates must note that the registration fee will be refunded if they have not been allotted a seat before 10:30 PM on Jun 10, 2023. However, a deduction of INR 5000 will be made in the refund.
• All the registration process steps and the fee payment must be completed before the deadline. Candidates will not receive concessions for technical glitches.
• If the candidates wish to change their preferences for the NLUs, they must do so during the registration. The preferences, once submitted, cannot be edited.
• Importantly, candidates will only be considered for admission at the NLUs that they have submitted as their preference. They will not be considered for other NLUs even if vacancies are available and the candidate’s rank is higher than the cutoff.
