CLAT Admission 2023: NLU Tripura to Not Accept CLAT 2023 Scores for BA LLB and LLM Admission
With the withdrawal of NLU Tripura, there are now 23 NLUs that will accept the scores of the recently conducted CLAT admission 2023.
CLAT Admission 2023: The National Law University, Tripura (NLU, Tripura) will not accept the CLAT 2023 scores for CLAT Admission 2023 to BA LLB and LLM programs. Additionally, the university was removed from the candidate's NLU preferences list.
The National Law University has told the Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs), Tripura (NLU, Tripura), that it will not participate in the admissions counselling process for the academic year 2023–2024 as per the consortium's most recent announcement.
It stated, "NLU, Tripura shall be deleted from the preferences specified by candidates for the CLAT Admission 2023" to all applicants taking part in the admissions counselling process.
The 25th national law university (NLU), founded in Oct 2022, is located in Tripura. It was anticipated that the institution would begin this year's academic session. Because of the state domicile quota, it abruptly cancelled the BA, LLB, and LLM admissions for the academic year 2022–23 just a few days before classes began.
After NLU Tripura withdrew, there are currently 23 NLUs, including the recently founded GNLU Silvasa, that will recognise the results of the recently held CLAT 2023. For national law universities, the consortium has begun the admissions counselling process. Candidates that have been shortlisted may finish their registration by Jan 12, 2023.
