CMAT Percentile Calculation
Authorities use a particular formula to calculate a student’s percentile for the CMAT result. The formula is “(The number of candidates in the session with a raw score equal to or less than the candidate’s score x 100) divided by (the total number of candidates who participated in the session).
The percentile here depicts the percentage of students with scores equal to or below a particular score. In other words, the highest scorer gets a 100 percentile. Consequently, students are given an appropriate percentile depending on their marks between the highest and lowest. The percentile ensures that all students will be adjudged universally. Also, it helps determine the final rank.

CMAT Score Calculation
CMAT scores are determined after calculating the questions correctly answered, followed by negative marks on incorrect questions. Students get 4 marks on a correct answer to a question. However, 1 mark is deducted for each incorrect answer. The merit list and national rank depend on the aggregate score of a student.
