CUET 2022 Exam Guidelines For Students: Important COVID-19 Instructions
As the first ever Common Universities Entrance Test begins, here are some NTA established CUET 2022 Exam Guidelines For Students.
The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) 2022 exam day 2 starts today, July 16. It is the second day of the exam for phase 1. The first shift of the examination will be from 9:00 AM to 12:15 PM, and the second shift will be from 3:00 PM to 6:45 PM. Moreover, students have the option of 500 designated exam venues in cities across the country for CUET 2022.
The National Testing Agency (NIA), under the Ministry of Education, is the governing body for CUET 2022. According to the official data, around 8.10 lakh candidates will partake in the first phase of the examination. Candidates must download the admit cards from the official NTA website cuet.samarth.ac.in.

CUET 2022 Exam Guidelines for the Candidates
Students must follow the prescribed exam guidelines below.
- Candidates must carry admit cards printed on A4 paper (preferably in colour).
- They must also submit one passport-size photograph as uploaded in the online application form.
- Students need to produce valid photo identity proof during the time of verification. If you do not have 1 with you, the invigilator will not let you participate.
- Candidates must not wear their face masks. The invigilator will provide masks at the centre.
- Please ensure that the question paper on the computer screen is as per the medium and subjects opted as indicated in the admit card.
- Prohibited items inside the examination hall:
- Instruments
- Geometry Box
- Pencil Box
- Handbag or Purse
- Any Paper, Stationery, textual material (printed or written material)
- Eatables and Water (loose or packed)
- Mobile Phone, Ear Phone, Microphone, Pager, Calculator, or any electronic watch with a calculator
- Candidates opting under the PwD category must bring their PwD certificate issued by the competent authority.
As per the latest update, the CUET question paper will have four sections.
Sections IA and IB comprise language tests, section II consists of MCQ-based questions from NCERT books, and section III will consist of MCQ-based general knowledge questions.
The CUET: UG 2022 Phase 1 Exams commenced on July 15 2022, and will end on July 20. The exam has two shifts – morning (9 AM to 12:15 PM) and afternoon (3 PM to 6:45 PM).
