Delhi HC to Hear JEE Advanced 2023 Eligibility Criteria Relaxation Plea on Mar 23

JEE Advanced 2023 Eligibility Criteria: The Delhi High Court has scheduled to hear the plea regarding the relaxation of JEE advanced eligibility criteria on Mar 23, 2023. Therefore, interested candidates who wish to register for the exam must take regular updates on the JEE advanced 2023 eligibility criteria relaxation.

Candidates must remember the mentioned plea in the Delhi High Court to request relaxation in the JEE advanced 2023 eligibility criteria. The “two attempts in two consecutive years” requirement will be considered through this relaxation.

Moreover, the applicants who did not take JEE Advanced twice or even once will be allowed to appear in JEE Advanced 2023 exam as a special provision in the eligibility test for pass-outs of Class 12 of 2021. Previously, this provision was enabled for the pass-outs of class 12th of 2020 in 2022. 

Note: The plea includes the request to relax the 75 per cent marks rule in the Class 12th result.

Last year, the National Testing Agency announced to withdraw of the 75 per cent criterion as a one-time measure due to the academic loss caused by the Covid pandemic. Further, on Jan 11, the NTA relaxed the JEE advanced 2023 eligibility criteria and said that the students who have scored 75 per cent marks or are in the top 20 percentile in class 12 would be eligible to seek admission. 

Note that the candidates can have an educational background from any education board. Furthermore, if they qualify for the requirements, they can apply for admission at NITs, IIITs and other GFTIs. Additionally, candidates can expect to hear the response to the plea about the JEE Advanced eligibility criteria 2023 by March 2023.
