Delhi University 2021 Postgraduate Admission Process Begins Today

Delhi University authorities will open the application process for the institute’s postgraduate programmes today, 26 July 2021. The submission deadline for Delhi University postgraduate applications is 21 August 2021. Hence, interested candidates can now apply for PG admissions on the official website. However, officials have advised that students first read through the guidelines and eligibility details prior to registration.

The university will conduct the registration procedure in total through the official website’s admissions portal. Due to COVID-19 constraints, there will be no in-person admissions facility. Hence, the portal aims to facilitate easy application submission, fee payment and other candidate actions.

This year, students applying for multiple postgraduate programmes should only fill out one application form. However, candidates must pay separate application fees for each registered course. The admissions board has issued this update to increase the efficiency and speed of the virtual process.

Delhi University M.Phil/ Ph.D. Admissions

In addition, officials have announced admissions updates for DU M.Phil, Ph.D., and undergraduate programmes. Thus, M.Phil and Ph.D. programme registration will begin online today, 26 July 2021. Afterwards, the application process for DU undergraduate courses will start on 2 August 2021. The M.Phil and Ph.D. admissions window will end on the same day as the deadline for PG applications, 21 August 2021. Moreover, the undergraduate programme registration facility will close on 31 August 2021.

DUET 2021

Earlier, the university announced that the National Testing Agency would oversee the Delhi University Entrance Test 2021. Henceforth, candidates interested in all postgraduate and several undergraduate courses can obtain admissions through qualifying scores in the DUET 2021. Students interested in the Ph.D. and M.Phil programmes can register for DU programmes with valid NET examination results. However, candidates without NET scores must apply to take the DUET exam. The NTA will release the examination schedule for the DUET 2021 exams shortly.
