DU UG Admission Process: The Delhi University (DU) has announced that it will soon launch the application process for admission to UG programs for the academic year 2022-23.
The notification release is when there is an uncertainty regarding the starting of the admission process in universities after the postponement of the CUET exams. In the previous years, DU UG Admission Process has been based on the Class 12 marks of the candidates. Starting this year, the seat allotment will be based on the CUET scores.

Earlier, the CUET-UG was supposed to end on August 20. But due to issues that arose during the exam, it has to be postponed to August 28. The CUET-UG schedule had to be extended following exam cancellation at several centres last week because of technical glitches. DU officials stated that the admission process would start at least a week later after the previously scheduled date.
The University has asked candidates to be ready with the relevant documents and certificates by August 31. In the latest notification from DU, the certificates required for the admission process, including Class 10, 12 certificates and EWS certificate(if applicable), have been listed.
The University has also stated that the name of the candidate claiming reservation must compulsorily match with the candidate’s name as it appears on their corresponding school board qualifying certificates and in the CUET UG 2022 scorecard. Additionally, the parents’ names must also be the same on the certificates.
Further, DU has clarified that the University will not accept undertakings regarding incomplete, invalid and non-availability of documents and certificates when applying for admissions.
