Delhi University UG Admissions to Start by 4 October

Delhi University officials plan to publish the first phase UG admissions cut off list online on 1st October 2021. Afterwards, DU-affiliated colleges will start the undergraduate admissions process by 4 October 2021. Delhi University Vice-Chancellor, PC Joshi, has commented on the start of the admissions window in an interview. He stated that aspiring candidates could apply for admissions to the university until 31st August 2021.

In addition, the university had deferred the cut off date for undergraduate students in light of the CBSE improvement examinations. Special assessments for CBSE class 12 students will take place from 16th August to 15th September 2021. Thus, the cut off list will now be available shortly before the release of undergraduate admissions.

Delhi University has also released an update regarding DU programmes with entrance examinations. This year, entrance tests will take place for 13 undergraduate courses. Officials expect these assessments to finish before the merit-based course admissions begin.

How to Register for Delhi University UG Admissions

Prospective students can now register online for Delhi University undergraduate programmes until 31 August 2021. Hence, candidates can follow the steps given below to apply for admission.

1. Go to the university’s official admissions website – ugadmission.uod.ac.in
2. Then, scroll down and select the “UG Admission 2021” tab available on the homepage.
3. A login portal will then appear on the screen.
4. Register for the portal by providing basic candidate details.
5. Then, log in using the given credentials.
6. Fill out the DU application form with personal, academic, and contact information.
7. Then, submit the application fee through online means.
8. Finally, verify and submit the registration form.
