Digital University Kerala PhD Admission 2022: DUK, a state-run institute, has opened doors for admissions into its doctoral programs. The following programs are open for admissions. The corresponding numbers are the vacancies for each program.

The programs are tailor-made to teach students about the industry needs and also aim to convey real-world problems in the present and future. Moreover, the programs offered here are of three types. Namely, full-time regular, part-time regular and industry regular. Critically, full-time PhD candidates must work full-time in the research lab of DUK. In addition, they also offer a humble fellowship and fee waivers to applicants in full-time PhD programs.

On the whole, the fellowship amount is INR 20,000, INR 25,000 and INR 30,000 per month in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd year. There is also no tuition fee in the first five years.

Likewise, full-time regular PhD candidates in Electronics Engineering are also qualified to apply for IICG (India Innovation Centre for Graphene). Additionally, they are entitled to gain a fellowship of INR 35,000. On the other hand, part-time candidates may work with faculty members of DUK remotely while holding full-time employment. Now, in the industry, regular candidates, they can either choose to work full-time in DUK or in the industry research lab. Moreover, they must also select a mentor who will act as their coordinator.
