DU Admission 2022: Delhi University has released the simulated merit list for UG admission 2022. Registered candidates can modify their preferences from Oct 15 to 4:59 PM on Oct 16. To access the DU admission 2022 simulated merit list, visit the official website: admission.uod.ac.in.
The simulated list is being released so that candidates can get an idea of the chances that they will be allotted a course at a college. They can modify the preferences entered in the stipulated period based on their assessment. While re-ordering the preferences, candidates are advised to select the maximum number of course-college combinations from the “Available Preferences” list to maximize the chances of being allotted a seat.
How to Check the DU Admission 2022 Simulated Merit List?
Given below are the steps to access the DU admission 2022 simulated merit list:
- Visit the official website of the DU UG admissions: admission.uod.ac.in/UG-Admissions.
- Then locate the link for the simulated merit list on the website and click on it.
- The candidate will be taken to a new page.
- Here enter the CSAS login credentials of the candidate.
- Once logged in, the simulated seat allotment will be displayed.
Further, the DU CSAS first seat allocation list is scheduled to be released on Oct 18. Candidates must note that the simulated allotment and the first allotment are different. It is not guaranteed that the seat allotted in the simulated allotment will be allotted in the first seat allocation.
As per official reports, a total of 2,17,653 candidates have registered for DU admission 2022 till the last date. For the first time, the DU admissions are being conducted based on the CUET UG scores instead of the Class 12 marks. However, if two candidates have the same CUET score, the class 12 marks will be considered for tie-breaking.
