FDDI AIST officials will release the first admissions seat allotment list on the official website on 1 September 2021. Hence, registered candidates can view their seat allotment results on the official website, fddiindia.com. Earlier, the admissions counselling registration window for the Footwear Design and Development Institute took place online from 20 to 27 August 2021.
FDDI AIST 2021 Seat Allotment
The institute will distribute seats based on availability, candidate merit, and preferences selected by the students. Furthermore, FDDI Counselling will likely take place for two or more rounds until available seats are completely filled. Candidates with seats allotted according to the preferences listed on their application cannot modify their allotment. Thus, they can either accept or reject the offer. However, candidates with an allotted seat that doesn’t align with their listed preferences can appear for further seat allotment rounds.
Once obtaining an allotted seat, students must pay an acceptance fee of INR 25,000 as soon as possible. Afterwards, officials will transfer INR 5000 from the amount for counselling charges, which will be non-refundable. Nevertheless, the institute will refund the remaining amount in case of seat modification or withdrawal.
Verification of Documents
In addition, applicants must go through the document verification process at the nearest FDDI campus after seat allotment. Thus, students must have the following original and self-attested documents on hand while attending the procedure.
- Class 10 and 12 certification and mark sheets
- Character certificate
- Medical fitness certificate (approved by a registered MBBS doctor)
- Demand draft for INR 25000 fee (in favour of “FDDI” payable in New Delhi from any bank)
- Two passport-sized coloured photos
- Caste certificate (if applicable)
- Disability certificate (if applicable)
