GATE 2022 Application Correction Facility Will Open Today

IIT (Indian Institute of Technology) Kharagpur officials will begin the GATE 2022 application correction window today, 26 October 2021. Therefore, PG GATE 2022 candidates can edit their registration forms after release by 1 November 2021. The modification facility is available entirely online on the official website, gate.iitkgp.ac.in. Interested participants must log into the website’s GOAPS portal using previously registered credentials such as their application form number.

However, IIT KGP has only provided the free correction facility for GATE 2022 candidates found with defective or incomplete application forms. Earlier, the institute had informed such individuals of discrepancies through their registered mobile numbers and email addresses. Therefore, all candidates should ensure whether they have received such a notification. If so, applicants can avail of the modification window to correct the present errors in order to regain eligibility for the examination.

Nevertheless, the board will also open an registration editing facility with an additional fee for all candidates. Interested applicants can change application details such as category, paper, and testing location. The paid registration editing window will be open to all eligible applicants until 12 November 2021. Afterwards, students can make no more changes to the application forms. Officials will release admit cards for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering on 3 January 2022. The engineering admissions assessment will take place in an offline testing mode on 5, 6, 12, and 13 February 2022.
