GATE 2023: IITK Issues Important Notice for International Centres at gate.iitk.ac.in
IITK issued an important notice regarding the withdrawal of international exam centres of GATE 2023. GATE exam 2023 is scheduled to be conducted from Feb 04 to 12.
GATE 2023: The Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur (IITK) has issued an important notice regarding withdrawing some International exam cities for the GATE exam 2023. The conducting authorities have released the GATE exam dates 2023 on Nov 28 on the official website. According to the official schedule, the GATE 2023 exam will be held on Feb 4, 5, 11, and 12, 2023.

GATE 2023 - Notification Regarding Examination at Internation Centres
As per the official notice, centres at Dhaka (Bangladesh), Kathmandu (Nepal), Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Male (Maldives), Port Louis (Mauritius), Singapore (Singapore) and Thimphu (Bhutan) are withdrawn due to operational issues. The GATE 2023 Examination will not be conducted in cities as mentioned above.
Furthermore, The GATE exam 2023 is scheduled to be conducted on Feb 05, 2023, in Dubai (UAE) for papers BM, CY, EC, EE, ES, and XH and on Feb 12, 2023, for papers CE1, CE2, MN and ST will not be conducted.
Candidates registered for the examinations in the above-mentioned exam centres can exercise one of the following options:

- Candidates can withdraw their GATE 2023 candidature. Candidates choosing this option will get a full refund of the GATE application 2023 fee.
- Candidates can select one of the cities as an examination centre in India. A refund of the application fee will be provided. However, to appear for the examination in India, candidates must pay the fees per paper.
It must be noted that, candidates must convey their decision to the authorities by sending an email to gate@iitk.ac.in by Dec 05, 2022. The email must include the following:
- Candidate's enrollment ID and name.
- The option chosen by the candidate
